Liver-damaging habits named
Experts named fruit as one of the causes of liver disease. Due to their misuse, fats are deposited in the body. This is due to the fact that the fruits are high in fructose.
Another habit that negatively affects the liver was called a sedentary lifestyle. The third reason is medication. The liver breaks down the drugs, therefore, if they do not properly affect the body, pain in the upper abdomen and fatigue appear. In such cases, experts recommend that you suspend your medication and see your doctor.
The experts noted that cirrhosis is not the only factor affecting liver damage. Obesity of the organ can also have a negative effect.

Not only does alcohol consumption have a bad effect on our liver, but there are also things we probably wouldn’t even think about.
Alcohol consumption is known to have a bad effect on the health of our liver. But what about the food we eat, the vitamins, and our weight? We show you the most surprising liver-damaging habits.
Sugar and overweight
Too much sugar harms not only our teeth but also our liver. The body converts fructose into fat, which is why foods that contain too much refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup can make the liver fat. Some studies show that sugar is just as harmful to the liver as alcohol, even if we are not overweight. If you want a healthy liver, you should also give up carbonated, sugary soft drinks, as their regular consumption can lead to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Obesity is already a pandemic, and we Hungarians take our share of it. Yet it is less common to hear that being overweight also plays an important role in the development of dangerous non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. You can read more about the disease here!
Being overweight or overweight also puts an extra burden on the liver: in this case, too, the organ can become obese and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease can develop. The condition is dangerous because it can cause scarring of the liver tissue over time. The disease is most common among the overweight, diabetic, and middle-aged.
Nutritional supplements and painkillers
It is also worth taking care with herbal supplements, and it is strongly recommended to seek the advice of a doctor before taking them for a long time. Kava coffee, for example, is used by some to relieve the symptoms of menopause, but studies have shown that it is specifically liver-damaging and can cause liver arrest or hepatitis. In some countries, its distribution has been banned or restricted under strict conditions.
Also be careful with vitamin A supplements because they can harm the liver in too high a dose. It is recommended to take such preparations only on medical advice. However, the fact that we relieve headaches does not matter: over-the-counter painkillers containing acetaminophen, when taken in excessive amounts, are also harmful to this important organ.
Small amount of alcohol
Alcohol consumption cannot be left out of the list either, although its well-known hepatotoxic effect has already been clarified above. However, many believe that only large amounts of spirits can harm this organ, even though "less" can be many.
The maximum limit is one unit of alcohol per day for women and two units per day for men, which is still relatively safe. That means one and a half deci of wine or a larger glass of beer. However, the safest and healthiest in all respects is to drink alcoholic beverages at all or only very rarely.
